Bilingual Community Therapist

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Office Location: 8541 S State Street Chicago IL The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Therapist will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to individuals and families. The Bilingual Community Therapist will provide strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed services to clients and their families with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance use disorders. The role will focus on reducing barriers to service for people who would not otherwise be able to access services due to income and insurance barriers. Salary Range: $57,000 - $62,000 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Office Location: 8541 S State Street Chicago IL The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Therapist will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to individuals and families. The Bilingual Community Therapist will provide strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed services to clients and their families with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance use disorders. The role will focus on reducing barriers to service for people who would not otherwise be able to access services due to income and insurance barriers. The Bilingual Community Therapist will provide behavioral health and navigation services in community and natural settings including home, doctors offices, community agencies, schools and other private community space. The Bilingual Community Therapist may be eligible to work remotely to provide telehealth services for a portion of their scheduled work days. Essential Responsibilities Provide strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed clinical services to individuals and families with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance abuse disorders in English and Spanish. Provide comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment services. Develop individualized treatment plans with the input of the client and their team, which includes providers and natural supports. Collaborate with members of the client’s team to ensure quality of treatment and coordination of care. Serve as an advocate for clients, linking them to needed community services; assess client’s personal, medical, social, emotional, and environmental situation to plan for linkage and treatment course. Maintain documentation of services that meets agency and grant funder standards. Work with others on the team to ensure coverage for clients needs is met to the best ability of the team. Perform other case management duties, home visits, and/or projects as assigned. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling. Experience working with families and children in community settings. Experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses. Spanish/English fluency.
