Nxt Property Management is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Vice President of Operations to lead the overall operations of our growing organization.
This executive leadership role partners closely with the President of Nxt Property Management and the Chief Operating Officer of Western States Lodging & Management to establish strategic direction, strengthen operational performance, drive financial results, and support long-term organizational growth.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee company-wide operations, including organizational strategy, operational execution, financial accountability, leadership development, client relationships, systems and infrastructure, and growth initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring Nxt Property Management continues to scale effectively while preserving the culture, values, and service standards that define our success.
This position also serves as a visible ambassador for the organization, representing Nxt Property Management with clients, ownership groups, industry partners, community stakeholders, and professional organizations.

Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Operations is responsible for enterprise operational strategy, execution, and organizational infrastructure across Nxt Property Management. Partnering closely with executive leadership, this role translates strategic vision into measurable business results by strengthening the systems, people, and processes that support sustainable growth.
The Senior Vice President will ensure the organization operates with consistency, efficiency, accountability, and innovation while preserving the culture and Personal Touch that distinguish Nxt Property Management and Western States Lodging & Management.
This role is designed to create organizational leverage, allowing operational leaders throughout the company to focus on customer relationships, portfolio performance, and team leadership while the Senior Vice President drives enterprise-wide execution, scalability, and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to establish and execute organizational strategy.
- Align operational priorities with long-term business objectives and growth plans.
- Drive enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen performance, accountability, and scalability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the President and executive leadership team.
- Represent the organization with clients, business partners, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
Operational Leadership & Organizational Performance
- Lead overall company operations and organizational execution.
- Develop and implement systems, processes, and infrastructure that support sustainable growth.
- Establish operational standards, performance expectations, and accountability measures across the organization.
- Evaluate organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and results.
- Ensure operational excellence while maintaining a culture-centered approach to leadership.
Growth, Scalability & Continuous Improvement
- Support business growth initiatives, acquisitions, transitions, and organizational expansion.
- Lead operational integration and implementation efforts related to company growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational scalability and long-term sustainability.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Promote innovation while maintaining operational discipline and financial accountability.
Financial Leadership
- Partner with finance and operational leaders to support profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Analyze operational and financial trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational performance, customer satisfaction, associate engagement, and business partner relationships.
- Ensure operational decisions support both short-term results and long-term organizational health.
Leadership Development & Culture
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing leaders across the organization.
- Strengthen succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Champion the mission, values, and Personal Touch culture throughout the organization.
- Create an environment where associates feel supported, empowered, and connected to the company's vision.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated success leading complex business operations, organizational growth, and high-performing teams.
- Strong executive leadership experience with responsibility for operational performance, strategic execution, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to build scalable systems, processes, and infrastructure that support sustainable growth.
- Exceptional financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, operational analytics, and performance management.
- Experience translating business strategy into measurable operational outcomes.
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities with experience guiding organizations through growth, transformation, or organizational change.
- Ability to develop leaders, build accountability, and create alignment across departments and teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commitment to preserving organizational culture while driving performance and growth.
Education & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive executive leadership experience.
- Experience in the multifamily apartment management space
- Demonstrated success improving organizational performance, building leadership teams, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
- Strong experience managing operational and financial performance in a complex business environment.
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degree.
- Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, organizational transitions, or large-scale growth initiatives.
