Shift Details
Scheduled clinic hours (7am-4pm) + Night call (4pm-7am)
24-hour call coverage (7am-7am) on weekends, includes rounding and call
On-call requirements include nights and weekends

Requirements
Board certification: NCCPA
Active Ohio license
ACLS
DEA
Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures / Skills
CABG
Thoracic surgery
Vascular surgery
Cardiac surgery

Assignment Details
Preferred skills:
Removal of Chest Tubes
Removal of Pulmonary Artery Catheter
Removal of Epicardial Wires
Removal of Intra Aortic Balloon Pump
Vein and Artery Harvesting
Surgical PA role assisting with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery, including elective and emergent cases
Coverage includes hospital rounding, surgery, clinic assistance, and call
Reason for coverage: full-time PA on vacation
EMR: Meditech and eCW
Support staff: Office supervisor
Setting: Acute hospital
FTE: 1.0
