Physical Therapist

Job Summary The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to both in-patient and out-patient populations, managing an approximately equal split of caseloads. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function. The therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and adheres to a variable schedule including weekend shifts. A minimum of two years of physical therapy experience is required. Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function. Manage both in-patient and out-patient caseloads with approximately a 50/50 split. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs. Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Certifications Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience. Valid physical therapist license in the state of practice. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with both in-patient and out-patient populations. Preferred Skills & Certifications Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings. Knowledge of current physical therapy best practices and rehabilitation techniques. Ability to manage a variable and weekend-inclusive schedule. Special Considerations Work schedule includes variable shifts and weekend coverage. Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs in multiple care settings. Scheduling Variable schedule including weekend shifts as required.
