This contract position is ideal for a Mod/Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) certified teacher who thrives in an inclusive educational setting. From August 17, 2026, through June 9, 2027, you’ll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, providing individualized instruction and fostering growth for a close-knit group of elementary students. The classroom features a manageable caseload of 10 students, each supported by several dedicated Instructional Assistants or paraprofessionals.

Key Qualifications:
• Active California Mod/Severe (or ESN) Credential—required
• Previous experience teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Confidence leading a team of classroom staff and collaborating with other educators
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to creating supportive, engaging learning environments

Your Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement personalized instructional plans based on IEPs
• Work closely with paras and support staff to address individual student goals
• Track student progress and communicate regularly with families and the IEP team
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom culture where every learner is encouraged to shine
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learner needs
