SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL

New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 27th
Experience:
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years

Salary:
The minimum starting pay is $67,374/year and the maximum salary is $84,831/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).


Job Description: High School Counselor

Qualifications and Expectations:

1. MA/MS from accredited college or university
2. Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: 0-21 School Counselor
3. Experience with Concurrent Enrollment Advising
4. Experience as 504 Coordinator
5. Experience with Social and Emotional Student Support
6. Experience as Testing Coordinator
