Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years minimum required License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic - Travel experience required Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab. The unit has three Cath Labs and two Electrophysiology Labs. Nursing staff will be required to be on call one weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week. Floating to other areas within the facility may be required based on scope of practice. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position. A clinical screening will be conducted to determine the fit for the role. Candidates that pass the clinical screening will be reviewed for a final decision. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work that holiday. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. For three holidays, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Full compliance is required to start on time; any delays may result in a push back of two weeks. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All requests for time off must be finalized upon submission. No time off requests can be made during orientation week. Candidates must adhere to all onboarding compliance requirements promptly. Completion of all compliance documents is necessary prior to starting. Candidates should expect to support various clinical procedures as outlined in the job description.
