Be the difference.Provides basic and advanced life support (ALS) interventions as needed.Assesses patient conditions, establish priorities, and implement appropriate treatment plans.Administers medications, perform procedures, and use medical equipment according to protocols.Safely transports patients to healthcare facilities while monitoring and documenting their condition.Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.Maintains accurate patient care reports and complies with all regulatory and organizational requirements.Participates in continuous professional development, training, and quality improvement initiatives.Ensures the maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness of emergency medical equipment and vehicles.Operates all vehicles in a safe, courteous and efficient mannerPerforms Point of Care (POC) testing with approval of AdministrationPerforms other duties as assigned.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.Minimum RequirementsEducation - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned.Experience - No experience required. One (1) year pre-hospital care experience preferredIn Lieu OfA Provisional Paramedic certification from another Emergency Medical Service COMPACT State (EMS COMPACT) meets education and Paramedic certification requirements.
