Hospitalist Medical Director Opportunity
We are excited to announce an opening for a Hospitalist Medical Director to oversee the hospital medicine program at a prominent facility in Charleston, West Virginia, in collaboration with a leading health system.
This hospital boasts a capacity of 383 beds and handles around 22,000 emergency department visits each year. The dedicated team comprises over 450 healthcare providers across two hospitals and more than 30 affiliated locations . Being part of a larger health system allows patients to benefit from a comprehensive network of specialists and sub-specialists throughout the region.
Qualifications for Ideal Candidates- Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Possession of a West Virginia medical license and DEA, or the ability to obtain them
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Hospital Medicine, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Willingness to relocate to the Charleston, WV area
