Travel Respiratory Therapist - Neuro Diagnostics - $1,742 per week

Job Summary Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position in New Orleans, Louisiana. 13‑week assignment, 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience. BLS & ACLS certification required; PALS & NRP may be required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required. Certification through NBRC or equivalent. Physical capability: stand/walk long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, vision requirements including clear close and distance vision. Must be able to perform arterial puncture and sample analysis. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care across clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff to optimize patient care. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Compensation & Benefits Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week. A tax‑free travel stipend will be provided.
