Manufacturing Quality Engineer

About the Role · We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer who is passionate about solving problems, improving manufacturing processes, and helping deliver high-quality products to customers. · This position is ideal for an engineer with approximately 1 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, industrial engineering, or a related field who wants to grow their technical skills while working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams. · You will be responsible for identifying quality issues, driving corrective actions, supporting production teams, and leading continuous improvement projects that improve customer satisfaction and manufacturing performance.

What You'll Do

• Quality Improvement & Problem Solving · Investigate product and process quality issues using structured problem-solving methods such as: · 8D · 5 Why · Fishbone Analysis · Root Cause Analysis · Support containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. · Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities. · Participate in customer and internal quality issue resolution activities.
• Manufacturing Support · Work directly with production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. · Support process audits and verify compliance with established procedures. · Help maintain process control plans and quality documentation. · Monitor process performance and escalate risks when needed. · Support traceability systems and manufacturing quality controls.
• Continuous Improvement · Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. · Identify opportunities to reduce defects, scrap, and rework. · Support process capability and process improvement activities. · Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to improve production performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration · Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality teams. · Support new product introductions and process changes from a quality perspective. · Provide quality-related training and guidance to production personnel when needed.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. · Minimum 1 year of experience in: · Manufacturing Quality · Manufacturing Engineering · Industrial Engineering · Production Support Engineering · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor and collaborate across teams. Preferred Qualifications · Experience using quality tools such as: · Problem Solving 8D · 5 Why · Fishbone Analysis · FMEA (PFMEA) · Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. · Six Sigma Green Belt certification or training.
