ENERGY ADVISOR

Position Description:

Promote energy efficiency and customer service programs to residential customers in accordance with company policies and procedures including safety in order to meet energy savings goal. With moderate direction, perform tasks pertinent to program requirements such as meeting with customers, conducting blower door testing, ensuring accuracy of program documents, and maintaining project files in tracking system. In addition, answer customer questions pertaining to high bill inquiries, comfort issues, and program participation information needs. Cultivate and expand professional relationships with Trade Allies and Santee Cooper personnel.

Essential Job Tasks:

• Implements and promotes Santee Cooper energy efficiency programs - Smart Energy Homes program and the Smart Energy Loan Program - to residential customers in order to obtain energy savings.
• Attends professional and Santee Cooper customer events.
• Builds and manages relationships with Trade Allies and professional affiliations.
• Provides guidance to less senior Energy Advisors and solve straightforward problems with moderate guidance.
• Conducts air infiltration tests and air flow analysis-blower door/flow hood with limited direction.
• Answers customer questions about rates and energy efficiency measures.
• Offers informal guidance to less senior EA's in the performance of the job duties.
• Conducts and reviews design analysis on Manual J load calculations and other straightforward assignments.

Position Requirements:

Energy Advisor I

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent degree with a strong math or science background.
• Must be "customer-focused" and demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Compensation Information:
$54,470 - $68,070 (min. - mid.)

Energy Advisor II

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent degree with a strong math or science background + 2 years experience.
• Must be "customer-focused" and demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Compensation Information:
$67,720 - $84,640 (min. - mid.)

Energy Advisor III

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent degree with a strong math or science background + 5 years experience.
• Must be "customer-focused" and demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Compensation Information:
$84,180 - $105,210 (min. - mid.)
