Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

• Utilizes the AIDET principle to communicate with others, with a focus on patients and their families.

• Acknowledge Introduce Explain Duration Thank

• Performs echocardiograms, doppler, color flow Doppler and Transesophageal echoes with supervision as required.

• Performs stress echoes with supervision or independently.

• Performs tilt table procedures.

• Schedules and prioritizes tests.

• Performs EKG testing.

Job Requirements

Required

• Currently attending or graduate of an accredited echocardiography program and Clinical experience performing echocardiograms, stress echoes, transesophageal echoes, EKG testing, stress testing and Holter monitors independently or with proctor

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 36 - months

$93.53 - $93.53 /hour
