Lead Ecommerce Associate

The Lead Ecommerce Associate provides direction, coaching, and/or mentoring to new and existing employees to ensure positive employee onboarding and experience. Implements strategies to achieve the goals for the organization and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the various Ecommerce departments. Implements, revises, and sustains policies, procedures and programs. Typically works on projects and initiatives that span 3 12 months.

Principal duties include:

• Providing direction, coaching, and/or mentoring to new and existing employees to ensure positive employee onboarding and experience.
• Analyzing, interpreting and acting on customer inquiries regarding a broad range of subjects including but not limited to: orders, order status, pricing, item descriptions, inventory and shipping/receiving.
• Maximizing revenue and margin from donated goods through online sales.
• Maximizing sales performance through proper listing, handling, rotation, and shipping of all merchandise and meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
• Utilizing PC and software accurately and communicating between different seller platforms.
• Ability to coordinate information relative to several different customers at the same time in order to satisfy individual customer production needs.
• Following safety procedures, uses PPE as needed and uses proper body mechanics when performing each task.
• Project and Change Management: Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments. May serve as a team member or subject matter expert on formal projects or within the department. Effectively engages in change, communicating appropriately with supervisor. Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
• Problem Solving: Light supervision; works independently. Periodic review of work by manager or senior coworker. Solves problems of moderate to advanced complexity; able to identify root cause, interpret data and resolve issues.
• Technical Skill: Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations.
• Community Engagement: Champions Goodwill's community engagement initiatives and serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community.
• Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements include:

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 2-year experience.
• Must be able to function independently in a work setting.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Work flexible hours; nights and weekend shifts may be required to meet business needs.

Physical/sensory demands include:

• Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
• Able to bend and reach to work with merchandise.
• Able to lift, push or pull a maximum of 75 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate material handling equipment.
• Able to grasp material for inspection and sorting activities.
• Able to visually observe merchandise, markings and up-close use of jeweler loops.
• Able to work independently.

When determining placement within the salary range for this position Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago considers education, experience, internal equity, market demands and other qualifying criteria. It is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each case.
