Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients including triage, active labor support, and postpartum recovery
• Administer and monitor medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin per established protocols
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring throughout the course of patient care
• Circulate and assist in C-section procedures as required
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required; Iowa RN license required (must apply at time of confirmation if not already held)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• At least one completed travel nursing contract
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• Valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with triage, active labor management, C-section circulating, and recovery
• Familiarity with Level 2 trauma center environment
