Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and surgical pediatric patients in a 26-bed PICU setting
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 based on patient acuity
- Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday coverage as required
- Complete unit and department-specific orientation prior to independent practice
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU or CVICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CVICU background strongly preferred
- Experience caring for a diverse range of critically ill pediatric diagnoses
