Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM) | Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform OR circulator duties independently across a range of surgical specialties including General, Robotics, Colorectal, GU, GYN, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT
• Participate in on-call requirements as assigned by the unit
• Adhere to holiday coverage expectations, with availability to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
• In the event of an emergency, be prepared to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team, as directed by the unit manager
• Complete facility orientation modules as scheduled during the orientation period

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Louisiana RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 3 years of OR circulator experience
• AHA certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and dated within 4 weeks of submission
• 2 Manager or Supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RN references are not acceptable); references must be submitted in PDF format
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors at this health system must have been separated for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• This position does not accept first-time travelers
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as indicated on driver's license) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• High proficiency across multiple surgical service lines including Robotics, Colorectal, GU, GYN, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume OR setting
• Familiarity with emergency response protocols in a hospital environment
