Assistant Store Manager - Mr. Mikes

Job Summary Assistant Store Manager (ASM) assists the general manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the store, ensuring compliance with Global Partner's policies and procedures. Responsibilities Complete daily accounting paperwork and submit by deadline. Supervise, develop, train, and discipline hourly employees, ensuring operational standards. Monitor shift cash handling and inventory. Investigate shortages/overages of $100 or less per month or inventory variations of .5% of sales or less. Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and other prescribed records. Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and administrative duties as requested. Manage cash control procedures including bank deposits and change orders. Maintain Grand Opening Ready and store image standards. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and environmental compliance. Report issues to management and authorities as required. Ensure gasoline levels are adequate and coordinate deliveries. Engage in promotional initiatives and promote high level of guest service. Perform other duties as directed by General Manager or Territory Manager. Qualifications & Requirements 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Ability to work unsupervised. Strong communication, counting, reading, and writing skills. Basic computer literacy. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Ability to work in varying temperatures, outdoors, cooler, etc. Physical capability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders or stairs, and lift up to 25lbs. Access to all store areas including selling floor, stock area, and register. Minimum age 18 years. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Job Description Must be available to work flexible hours, including day, night, weekends, and holidays. Pay Range $19.05 - $22.26 per hour, determined by experience, skills, and location.
