Michigan licensure appropriate to professional degree, i.e., LPC, LLPC, LMSW, LLMSW, is required. Must have experience in the diagnosis and provision of services to individuals with mental health disorders and, developmental disabilities in a mental health or other human services agency. Experience with substance use disorders, or willingness to learn about substance use disorders, preferred. Some flexibility in hours is allowed but the employee is expected to be available during the core works hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the majority of the time, and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status, unless an adjusted schedule is pre-approved. Some evening hours and weekends may be required.Travel may be necessary for this position but is generally located within Gratiot County. A valid Michigan Driver's license is required to operate GIHN vehicles or to transport consumers in personal or GIHN owned vehicles.Master's degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling or related field, is required. Must have experience in the diagnosis and provision of services to individuals with mental health illness, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders in a mental health or other human services agency. Must be a QMHP with a minimum of one year related work experience.Three years of work experience in the mental health field.
