Production Planner

Manufacturing Production PlannerStandard Job Description Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers. Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases. Determines the need for tooling and makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools. Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing and coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements. Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records.Basic QualificationsMinimum 1 years experience combined in the following:ManufacturingProduction PlanningEngineeringAviation / aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modificationExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentsExperience writing manufacturing work instructions or technical documentsDesired SkillsC-130, F-35, F-16, and/or Machine Shop experience preferredEngineering degree / experience preferredExperience interfacing with customerExperience performing cross-functional workExperience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with competing prioritiesExperience with manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM) or configuration managementGreenbelt certified or familiar with continuous improvement frameworks (A3, 6S, Lean)Experience with the following software: Solumina, MTO, CAPP, SFM, SAP, Apriso, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Interview QuestionsDeliver value: Describe a time when you took steps to make sure a customer was satisfied.Effective Communications: How do you make sure that your audience has received and understood the message you are trying to convey?Prioritization: Describe a time at work where you had to juggle several projects at the same time.
