PMdigital.ai is looking for a Health IT Training Specialist to join our growing team. This work will be performed primarily in a remote/virtual environment but may require on-site activities at IHSC Headquarters in Washington, DC on an as-needed basis, as determined by the Government.  

Summary: Performs substantive training analysis, instructional design, curriculum development, training-material production, training delivery, evaluation, and user-readiness activities supporting Health IT implementation and sustainment. The Training Specialist develops and delivers training products and services appropriate to identified user populations and operational requirements. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
• Conduct training-needs analyses and identify target audiences, learning objectives, training requirements, and delivery approaches. 
• Design and develop curricula, lesson plans, presentations, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, quick-reference materials, exercises, assessments, and other training products. 
• Develop role-based and workflow-based training content addressing applicable Health IT systems, processes, policies, or operational changes. 
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, classroom, train-the-trainer, and other approved training formats. 
• Develop and maintain electronic-learning content when required and compatible with approved Government platforms. 
• Coordinate training schedules, logistics, participant requirements, materials, and other training-delivery activities. 
• Develop knowledge checks, assessments, surveys, and other methods to evaluate training effectiveness and user readiness. 
• Analyze training results and user feedback and revise training materials or delivery approaches as appropriate. 
• Maintain training materials, curricula, version histories, attendance information, completion information, and other required records. 
• Coordinate with Clinical Informaticists, Project Managers, Program Managers, Technical Writers, technical personnel, and operational stakeholders to ensure training reflects approved workflows and implementation requirements. 
• Support implementation, readiness, adoption, sustainment, and knowledge-transfer activities. 
• Perform authorized in-person training when required and when applicable travel has been approved in accordance with the task order. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
• Demonstrated experience in instructional design, adult learning, curriculum development, training delivery, or related functions. 
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training for complex systems, processes, or operational environments. 
• Strong presentation, facilitation, writing, organization, and communication skills. 
• Proficiency with common instructional design, presentation, collaboration, and learning technologies. 
• Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and translate feedback into improved training products. 
• Experience with Health IT, healthcare, Federal IT, or enterprise-system training is preferred. 
• An industry-recognized certification in instructional design, adult learning, training, or a related discipline is preferred.
