Accounting Assistant

Accounting AssistantResponsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data- Assists with payroll processes, including processing timesheets- Utilize accounting software (NetSuite) to record financial transactions and maintain accurate records- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes- Assists with preparing and filing sales tax reports- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information- Assists staff with any accounting system issuesQualifications:- Proficiency in using accounting software (such as Workday, ADP, Xero)- Familiarity with printing services industry is a plus- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)Note: Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required.This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of accounting principles, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
