What We're Looking For:
- A certified Dental Assistant with a heart for pediatric care
- Someone who is patient, energetic, and truly enjoys working with children
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but a passion for kids
Responsibilities
- Provides chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
- Manages patient flow to ensure efficient appointments
- Welcomes patients and deliver positive patient experiences
- Captures and processes X-Rays
- Enters patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the Dentist
- Completes sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
- Monitors all laboratory cases and ensure they are ready for the next day's schedule
Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certification in the appropriate state from an accredited school
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Coronal Polishing certificate desired
- X-Ray certification, or the ability to acquire in a timely manner
- Nitrous Oxide certificate preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong patient focus
- Ability to partner with team and contribute to welcoming environment for patients
