No matter what stage of your career, you can build your future at Tempur Sealy!Summary:This sewing position, also referred to as a "Cap Flanger", will be responsible for a variety of sewing machines to sew border, bottom panel and flange material together to form the bottom covering of a one-sided mattress.Essential Duties:This person will read the information on the order ticket and collect the accurate materials to be sewn.The operator takes the side border of the mattress and sews it to the bottom cloth panel.While sitting, the operator uses hand movement to push the border through the sewing machine jaws as it is sewn to the panel.RequirementsVery good hand-eye coordinationWork in a fast-paced environmentSit and/or stand in place for extended periods of timeRead and comprehend basic order informationWork flexible hours, including overtime - and Saturdays as neededPrevious sewing experience preferredTempur Sealy is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
