Position Type: Full-time, Hourly Industry: Commercial Heavy EquipmentEJ Equipment Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Shakopee, MN. This full-time, hourly position involves providing high-quality service and maintenance to a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles, including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other machinery. You will report directly to the Service Manager and will be responsible for on-site repairs and maintenance.Compensation & Benefits: We offer competitive hourly wages based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planPaid time offOpportunities for career growth and advancementResponsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and brake repairs.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.Complete necessary repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.Maintain accurate and detailed service records and reports.Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing updates on repair progress and recommendations for preventative maintenance.Follow all safety procedures and protocols in the shop and on job sites.Stay current with industry advancements and changes in technology.Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.Strong knowledge of diesel engines and equipment.Must have own tools and a valid driver's license.Experience in the auto industry is preferred.Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and customer service skills.Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.Must be able to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.Additional Information: EJ welcomes all current trade students and recent graduates to apply!EEOC Statement: EJ Equipment Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
