Warehouse Team LeadAs a Warehouse Team Lead with Hamilton Medical, Inc. (HMI), you will have a direct impact on patient care by ensuring on-time delivery of lifesaving equipment. Specifically, you will help process customer shipments and lead the Warehouse Team to achieve daily operational targets in picking, packing, and shipping. A successful Warehouse Team Lead will bring a service-focused mindset to successfully direct, coach, and motivate team members while driving a culture of positivity, respect, safety, and transparency.Other responsibilities include:Serve as a role model for adherence to Safety and Quality standards. Ensure staff adherence; communicate with Warehouse Supervisor as needed to resolve conflicts.Utilize ERP system to process shipments, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic inventory transactions.Open/close the warehouse area and complete daily end-of-shift reporting.Lead start-of-shift team huddles, communicate goals and expectations, and serve as liaison between departments.Strategize resource allocation and workflow to ensure daily and weekly plans are met.Assist with transporting equipment or materials to their appropriate destination.Load and unload trucks.Generate receipt travelers, verify parts received with vendor packing list, report receipt discrepancies to Purchasing and/or Logistics.Support and lead inventory investigations; present results for approval and adjustment.Review and disposition non-conforming product.Support cycle count inventory as required to maintain on-hand stock integrity.Coordinate Material Handler activity to assure timely delivery of parts from the warehouse to the production facility.Create standard work documentation and procedures (SOPs).Evaluate team members' skills and growth opportunities. Train staff to maintain a strong knowledge and skill base.Respond to any emergencies in the Warehouse.Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, and written), including the ability to interface effectively with leaders.Ability to use loading dock, pallet jack, pallet rider, reach forklift, turret truck, and other relevant devices/vehicles.Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment to meet quality and quantity targets.Knowledge of shipping and packaging equipment.Ability to use basic math to compute quantities and count parts.Ability to work with small components and hand tools for long periods.Skilled eye for detail and quality.Ability to follow detailed manufacturing and process instructions.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in warehousing environment required.Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion preferred.Track record of consistent employment.About Hamilton:Established, stable, and reliable company.Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision insurance; paid vacation and sick time; disability insurance; 401(k); tuition reimbursement; and more.Engaging and innovative design projects.Strong opportunities for professional growth.Commitment to sustainable design practices.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required (provided by employer).Drug and background screenings required.
