Deburr TechnicianBG Products, Inc. – Tools & Equipment Division located in Derby, Kansas manufactures and distributes a broad line of specialty Tools/Equipment for use in the Automotive Professional Trade Industry through a network of distributors worldwide.The Deburr Technician position will work in collaboration with the Manufacturing Team to utilize a wide variety of hand and mechanical tools to deburr and polish machined parts.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.Polish, clean, break edges and produce a matte finish on precision machined parts made of a variety of materials to specified requirements and tolerances.Utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, and specifications, written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary to meet production requirements.Identify and report defective equipment, materials, and faulty operations to supervision.Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.Maintain safe working practices and ensure area is clean and free of any possible unsafe situations.Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity and the desire to work in a manufacturing environment.Responsible for deburr and finish operations on the appropriate jobs in the order needed to meet production schedules.Ensure all parts of paperwork and documentation are completed properly.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.· (1-3) years of Deburr experience preferred.· On-the-job training will be provided for specific job assignments.
