Logistics IT Systems Senior Engineer

Overview As a Senior Logistics Systems Engineer at Kuehne+Nagel, you will design, implement, and optimize IT systems that power contract logistics operations, ensuring seamless integration across warehouse management, transportation, and customer platforms. Responsibilities Lead pre‑sales, solution design, and customer engagement, owning Non‑Functional Requirements, Solution Concept Templates, and Rough Order of Magnitude estimates to deliver competitive RFPs. Own full lifecycle delivery across WMS, ERP, and TMS, including build, integration, testing, cutover, and hypercare to ensure successful, stable go‑lives. Ensure operational readiness through documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer, while providing Level 3 support and driving proactive problem management. Establish and enforce scalable standards through reusable architectures and IaC, coaching global teams and ensuring consistent quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience. 2–5 years international logistics or 3PL experience. 2–5 years leadership experience (direct or virtual). 2–5 years of senior IT solutions design or specialist experience. 2–5 years of project management experience. Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or high‑tech a plus.
