Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Lead to oversee and manage our extensive tire inventory. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with a strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, leading a team of inventory associates, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize discrepancies. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the accuracy of a large-scale inventory of 150,000-200,000 tires. Lead and supervise a team of inventory control associates, providing coaching, training, and support to ensure performance targets are met. Implement and oversee inventory control procedures, including blind counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories to ensure the integrity of our stock. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, performing root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues. Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory flow, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts. Manage the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and Drop Ship returns process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of returned goods. Ensure professional and timely communication via email with internal customers and stakeholders to complete Inventory Adjustments and finalize returns processes. Juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, identifying and addressing the most pressing inventory‑related tasks. Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing, sales, and warehouse operations, to ensure seamless inventory management. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory software to track, analyze, and report on key inventory metrics. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Requirements Proven experience as an Inventory Lead, Inventory Supervisor, or a similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in e-commerce. Solid understanding of inventory control principles and best practices, including blind counts, discrepancy analysis, and stock count dynamics. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A solid understanding of a warehouse RMA and Drop Ship returns process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. What We Offer Competitive biweekly pay. Schedules Receiving & Inventory Teams: Typically Mon‑Fri (7:00 AM-5:30 PM, or until completion of work) Five-day/eight-hour shifts, with weekends off.
