Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physician role located in Glastonbury, CT. The Physician will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child visits, acute and chronic illness management, immunizations, and developmental screenings. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and documenting care in the medical record. The Physician will counsel patients and caregivers on preventive health, growth and development, nutrition, and safety, and will coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed. Participation in practice meetings, quality initiatives, and occasional after-hours coverage may be required to support continuity of care. Qualifications Current MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program. Valid, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Connecticut and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics. Strong clinical skills in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including preventive care and management of common childhood conditions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, caregivers, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals. Commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive care and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards. Ability to use electronic health records and related clinical systems efficiently, with attention to accurate and timely documentation. Demonstrated reliability, professional judgment, and willingness to participate in practice operations, quality improvement, and continuing education.
