Graduate Assistant for Accessibility and Testing Services (Beg Spring 2017)

Graduate Assistant The Graduate Assistant supports the daily operations of the Office of Accessibility and Testing Services, including administrative functions, student support, and testing services. This role serves as a professional representative of the University and requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, sound judgment, and a commitment to equitable student access and success. The Graduate Assistant plays a key role in supporting office workflows, assisting students and campus partners, and ensuring the smooth coordination of accommodated testing and related services. The position requires discretion, professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, student-focused environment. All scheduled hours will take place Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Required Qualifications To be considered for a graduate assistantship at the University of West Georgia (UWG), students must meet the following criteria: Be fully admitted to a graduate degree program at UWG. Please note: Students admitted provisionally are not eligible for assistantship positions. Hold a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Be enrolled full-time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework and remain in good academic standing. Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States.
