**Exciting Opportunity for MRI Technologist!** - Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic healthcare environment? - We are seeking a passionate and skilled MRI Technologist to join our dedicated team! **Job Description:** - Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. - Work a flexible schedule with 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts, including weekend and call rotation. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and actively participate in committees and projects. - Prepare patients for procedures with clear instructions to ensure their comfort and cooperation. - Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risk for patients and staff. - Operate magnetic resonance systems and associated equipment, positioning them effectively for optimal results. - Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture as needed. - Verify consent and screening forms prior to procedures. - Assist physicians during interventional procedures while practicing aseptic techniques. - Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate data for display. - Maintain patient dignity and address physical and psychological needs during procedures. - Utilize radiology information systems (including PACS) to complete records and submit images for physician review. - Initiate basic life support when necessary. - Provide practical instruction and mentorship to partners and students. **Education & Experience:** - Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
