Warehouse Associate II

Pay rate range - $18/hr. to $20/hr.
Onsite - Second shift is 230p-11p

Must Have
1. 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience with strong packing and label verification accuracy.
2. Proficiency with computers and automated shipping software/systems.
3. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment.


Nice to Have
1. 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience specifically within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
2. Current forklift certification and OSHA safety certification.
3. Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise ERP/inventory management platforms.


Years of experience
Minimum 1+ years (Required); 2+ years in manufacturing preferred.


Workflow
Process and prepare outbound shipments following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Verify package contents, part counts, weights, and shipping labels for accuracy.
Properly handle manufactured components (including delicate 3D-printed items, welded assemblies, and precision CNC-machined parts) and pack appropriately to eliminate transit damage.
Conduct quality checks on packaged items prior to carrier release.
Coordinate daily pickups with freight carriers/transportation providers.
Log and track shipments in internal logistics software and SAP/ERP systems; update manufacturing teams and customers on order readiness.
Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks/forklifts) and maintain clean, organized staging areas.

Client Manufacturing Services is an internal Client service specializing in the production of high-quality components through additive manufacturing (3D printing), CNC machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly. We serve design engineers, product developers, operations engineers, and retail product concept testing teams across Client.

About the Role
AMS seeks a detail-oriented 2nd shift Shipping Associate to manage outbound shipments and ensure accurate, timely delivery of manufactured products to customers and other Client facilities. You will be responsible for processing shipments, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining organized shipping/receiving areas while following all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping Operations
• Process and prepare outbound shipments according to standard operating procedures
• Verify package contents, weights, and shipping labels for accuracy
• Package items appropriately to prevent damage during transit
• Perform quality checks on packaged items before shipment
• Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers
• Use internal shipping systems to track and document shipments
Material Handling and Safety
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards
• Properly handle manufactured components including machined parts, welded assemblies, and 3D-printed items
Documentation and Communication
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
• Communicate shipment status to manufacturing teams and customers
• Coordinate with production teams on order readiness and priorities
• Report any shipping issues or delays promptly
Qualifications
Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
