Description

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment plans
• Implement a variety of physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall function
• Work closely alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and different rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and recommended home exercises
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and patient progress following all facility and regulatory requirements
• Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team meetings to guarantee coherent and coordinated patient care

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a closely related degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous, though not mandatory
