Los Angeles County , CA Direct Hire Accounting Management $120K to $130K 05/28/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $130,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger activity, receivables, payables, payroll support, and fixed asset tracking. Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business operations. Manage year end processes by coordinating financial statement preparation and supporting external tax reporting requirements. Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance while working closely with other departments. Monitor cash activity, banking relationships, and internal processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Requirements: A Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting experience in a professional environment. Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting practices. Previous experience working with accounting systems and familiarity with enterprise tools. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail with consistent follow through on tasks and responsibilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills when working with teams and leadership. Ability to manage priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure. Previous experience supervising staff and supporting team development. Reliability and adaptability with a proactive approach to problem solving.
