Senior Payment Accuracy Specialist

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Senior Payment Accuracy Specialist will develop and implement audit concepts, oversee audit quality control, and mentor audit staff while working in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Generates and develops new audit concepts, collaborating with clients to gain acceptance and expand approval Directs ownership for quality control by reviewing auditor claims and ensuring adherence to expected quality and quantity standards Actively trains and mentors audit team members on executing basic to complex audit projects Required qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred with three years of direct audit experience or four years of related experience in healthcare billing or medical claims Experience using SQL is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and system databases Ability to mentor staff and enhance their performance related to audit quality and productivity Prior healthcare billing and/or claims experience is desired
