Travel RN Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Riverside Community Hospital Building B (Vintage Tower)
Address: 4445 Magnolia Ave, 2nd Floor

Position Details
Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Shift: Days
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs
On-Call: Typically not scheduled; flexibility may be required
Unit Highlights
11 Labor beds
4 OB Evaluation beds
2 OB PACU beds
2 Operating Rooms
Nurse-to-patient ratios:
1:1 for active labor patients
1:2 for antepartum/postpartum patients
EMR: Meditech & CPN
Floating to Postpartum/Couplet Care may be required
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Experience with AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Ability to provide Couplet Care if floated
Strong labor management and fetal monitoring skills
Preferred Qualifications
Transition Nurse/Baby Catching experience
Experience managing obstetric emergencies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Typical Responsibilities
Labor management and patient assessment
Continuous fetal monitoring
Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
Cervical examinations
Medication titration
McRoberts maneuver and obstetric emergency response
Patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
Required Certifications
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Dress Code

Hospital-issued infant security scrubs.
