About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Must possess a valid nursing license prior to start date. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - Experience scrubbing CV cases - Experience with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO preferred Description: The position involves working in a CVOR setting. Scrubbing cardiovascular cases is required. The candidate must be comfortable floating to other OR specialties as needed. Call requirements include approximately 100 hours every 6 weeks, with one call weekend every 6 weeks. The candidate must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Previous experience in a Level I Trauma setting is preferred. The candidate must provide two to three days of availability for interviews. Additional preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and familiarity with Cerner charting system. The role includes working with adult and geriatric patients.
