The Marketing Assistant works under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Marketing Senior to prepare materials, maintain brand consistency, and assist with day-to-day creative needs.Key Responsibilities:Adobe InDesignIllustratorCanvaWordPress updatesFile organizationPreparing materialsSkills and Qualifications:Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and IllustratorExperience using Canva for basic design and layout supportFamiliarity with WordPress or similar content management systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow brand standardsAbility to take direction, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesOrganized and dependable with good time-management skillsComfortable working in a structured, in-office environmentWillingness to learn firm-specific processes, tools, and templatesBasic understanding of print and digital design formatsExposure to Adobe PhotoshopExperience preparing files for print or digital distributionCoursework, certification, or portfolio demonstrating creative abilityLanguage Skills:Proficient verbal and written communication abilities in English.Proficiency in visual communication is essential for this position. Relevant experience, coursework, certification, or a portfolio demonstrating creative ability is acceptable in place of formal education.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsNo licenses or registrations requiredRelevant certifications or training in Adobe Creative Suite, Graphic Design, Web Content Management, or Digital Marketing are a plus but not requiredCandidates with practical experience, coursework, or a portfolio demonstrating creative skills are encouraged to applyPhysical Demands:Extended computer use: Spending prolonged periods working at a computer, requiring sustained focus.Fine motor skills: Precise movements and coordination for manipulating design elements.Collaboration and presentations: Engaging in meetings, presentations, and collaboration sessions.Project management: Handling physical tasks such as sorting materials and setting up displays.Work Hours and Duration:Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.Extended hours are required at various times throughout the year depending upon workload and deadlines.Travel Requirements:Out-of-town travel is not normally required for this position.All efforts will be made to give as much advance notice as possible for required travel.Employee must have reliable transportation, an active driver's license, and valid automobile insurance.This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work.
