Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Hackensack Meridian Health.

Additional Details:

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Required Credentials: ASN. Telemetry. CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.

Preferred Credentials: BSN.

Unit Details: Extremely busy medical-surgical unit; patients may include step-down patients at times.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required; 3 of the 6 observed holidays are required. No on-call requirement.

Floating Requirements: Within facility to like units.

7 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
