Shop Equipment Mechanic

Shop Equipment Mechanic Location: Woodbridge, VA Pay: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Chesapeake Automotive Equipment is looking for a dependable and experienced technician to support field service operations. This role involves working directly with automotive service facilities to install, maintain, and repair essential shop equipment. What You Will Do Install and service equipment used in automotive repair facilities, including lifts and compressed air systems Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs in the field Assess job sites and determine appropriate solutions for installation or service needs Manage service calls independently while maintaining clear communication with customers Track completed work, materials used, and recommended follow-up actions Follow all safety standards and company procedures Maintain tools, equipment, and daily service readiness What We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with automotive or industrial equipment Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems Previous experience in a shop or field service environment Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the day Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of conditions Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay from $25.00 to $35.00 depending on experience Full-time, stable position Company vehicle provided for work use 401(k) plan with profit-sharing Paid time offTraining and advancement opportunities Team-oriented and supportive work environment Chesapeake Automotive Equipment is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable employment laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Chesapeake Automotive Equipment
