We’re looking for a Field Tech II to join our team. Duties And Responsibilities THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION Must be able to work in physically demanding environment (Lifting, bending, climbing, walking extensively) Exceptional Customer Service and relationship building competence. Must be self-motivated, punctual, and able to work independently. Must have a working cell phone. Travel within a radius of 25 to 150+ miles daily in a specific route Understand AC/DC and backup power concepts. Excellent time management and reporting skill Familiar with various operating systems (e.g. - Windows OS, OSX, Linux/Unix) Manage triage, troubleshooting and resolution to client scope on IT equipment. Occasionally works at heights of 20’ to 25’, lift equipment training provided. Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases/tickets daily Experience desired in copper and fiber cabling and various terminating connectors Proficient communicator with emotional intelligence insight for explaining IT terminologies at the client’s level of understanding. POS Systems repair Lexmark Printer repair Access point repair Thin client repair Refresh projects Able to lift 25 lbs 40-hour work week mandatory Skills & Qualifications One year IT technical support experience Cash recycler repair experience is highly preferred. CompTIA A+ (Preferred) Net+ CompTIA certification preferred. Driver's License (Required) Wage Range The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, unless the local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
