Vascular Surgeon

A leading regional medical center in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a Locums Vascular Surgery Physician to provide call coverage and support for an established vascular surgery program. This role involves serving Southern Idaho and surrounding communities within a mature and well-supported vascular service. The physician will work alongside experienced advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary hospital teams.

• Established Vascular Surgery Clinic and Vascular Laboratory
• Strong referral network serving Southern Idaho
• Mature vascular surgery program with comprehensive support
• Full operating room capabilities and equipment to support all aspects of vascular surgery
• Dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants providing daily support
• Collaborative relationships with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency medicine physicians, and trauma services

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular surgery call coverage for the Emergency Department
• Evaluate and manage urgent vascular surgery consultations
• Assess and treat urgent clinic referrals
• Perform vascular surgical procedures as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers on patient care and follow-up
• Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Compensation

• Generous (above market) hourly rate
• All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate

Requirements

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship or integrated vascular surgery training program
• Active Idaho medical license preferred or ability to obtain
• Current DEA registration required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications preferred
