Heartland Hospice seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse On Call to provide after-hours hospice care in home and facility settings. In this role, you’ll respond to urgent patient needs, perform assessments, manage pain and symptoms, administer medications, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team. You’ll offer emotional support and education to patients and families, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect at end of life. This position involves triaging calls, making home visits, updating care plans, and documenting accurately while collaborating closely with physicians, social workers, and spiritual care providers.
