Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a client to identify an experienced accounting professional for a unique opportunity supporting a diverse portfolio of business entities, real estate investments, and estate and trust accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity Accounting: Manage full-cycle accounting, general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Estate & Trust Accounting: Maintain fiduciary accounting records for estates and trusts, ensuring transactions and distributions comply with governing legal documents.
• Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany billings, loans, cash transfers, allocations, and reconciliations across related entities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual entities and consolidated portfolios.
• Tax & Legal Coordination: Coordinate with external CPA firms and estate attorneys to provide documentation and support for corporate, partnership, estate, and trust tax filings and administration.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash balances, forecast cash needs, coordinate transfers, and track distributions to owners and beneficiaries.
• Project Accounting: Track real estate development and construction costs by project, property, phase, and budget; monitor actual costs versus budget and prepare project-level financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Real estate/project accounting and estate/trust accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential financial information and multiple priorities independently.
