Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Contract position at a facility in Kansas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night 4x12-hour shift (18:45 - 07:15) with options of 36 or 48 hours per week. Some weekends may be required.

The Registered Nurse will provide care for stable remote telemetry monitored patients in a general medical unit. The role involves potential floating to like units as needed based on facility requirements.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

Manage various patient care activities, including the care of central lines, colostomy, and feeding tubes.

Perform blood product administration and maintain intravenous access.

Document patient care in the Electronic Health Record (preferred system: Epic).

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred; less experience may be considered.

Must possess a valid Kansas or Compact RN license.

Current BLS certification required; NIHSS certification preferred.

Travel experience is required, and previous charge experience is preferred.

Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients per nurse.
