Job DescriptionTimmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Structure & Bridge Design candidate to join our Structure & Bridge Design Group located in our Richmond, VA office location.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Lead and manage design efforts for the Structural Engineering teamClient management and developmentDevelop work plans, schedules, estimates and budgetsSupervise, coordinate, and review the work of engineersMentor junior engineersPerform complex bridge design for new and rehabilitation projectsBridge design and load ratings experience is a plusAssist with the development and implementation of marketing plansSkills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Master’s degree preferred8-15 years of structural design experienceCurrent Virginia PE (or the ability to obtain the license through comity upon hiring).Must have excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation and VDOT standardsProficiency in structural design software packages such as MDX, Virtis, Merlin-Dash, Descus, Bar7, STAAD, etc.Compensation: Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $90,000-$160,000. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials and role complexity.
