Heavy Equipment Operator

*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, adhering to all operational standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, skid loaders, and excavators, in a safe and efficient manner.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate equipment needs and schedules.
* Transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks as required.
* Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site to maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

*Experience*

* Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within a construction environment is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
* Experience operating various types of machinery including Caterpillar equipment, farm machinery, tankers, and other heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
