DIETARY AIDE - Dishwasher

Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food portioning as directedDeliver and collect meal trays in a timely and courteous mannerWash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using proper sanitation proceduresMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish room, and dining areasFollow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelinesProperly store food and supplies according to facility policiesDispose of trash and maintain waste areas in a sanitary conditionAssist in receiving, stocking, and rotating food and suppliesInteract respectfully with residents, staff, and visitorsReport any concerns regarding food quality, safety, or resident needs to supervisorPerform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or SupervisorPART-TIME DISHWASHER NEEDEDHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in food service, healthcare, or hospitality preferred but not requiredAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessReliable attendance and punctualityPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25–50 pounds as neededAbility to work in hot, wet, and humid environmentsManual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and dishwashing machineryWork Environment:Skilled nursing facility kitchen and dining areasExposure to heat, steam, cleaning chemicals, and food odorsMay require working weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
