Activities Director

Plan, organize, and implement activity and leisure programs for residents. Design programs addressing residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs and interests. Ensure activities align with the comprehensive resident care plan. Work with seniors in a dedicated and compassionate manner. Requirements A fire and passion for working with seniors A flexible, fun, and energetic personality Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred. Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing. Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting. Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
